Who We Are

The Institute of Brain-based Learning (IBL) is an innovative research center of Korea National University of Education. In the institute, researchers in education, brain and digital science are working together with in- & pre-service teachers to understand student’s learning process in the brain and develop innovative digital contents for student’s learning.

The Institute of Brain-based Learning (IBL) was established in 2013, funded by Korea National University of Education, with the vision to shift the brain-based education paradigm from the traditional education paradigm through neurologically validated learning theories and experiments.

The Institute of Brain-based Learning (IBL) is at the forefront of a new convergence field that has an innovative potential to improve the future of global learning and teaching. Our researches will be providing deeper insight into the nature of learning and teaching.

About This Journal

The Brain, Digital, & Learning is a peer reviewed journal publishing articles covering all aspects of brain-based education, AI-based learning, digital-based education, VR-based learning, and instruction & learning. The journal has a deliberately broad scope and publishes quantitative and qualitative research studies, experimental research studies, reviews of research, short reports and contents development concerned with the brain, digital, and learning fields.
